I thought this Scratch project was cool because it challenges you to think about what needs to happen in the script. So that it does what is supposed to do. I also thought this project was interesting because the result you get is a great one. Some of the answers I made were different from what my friends did which was cool. (There is more than one way to get the same answer. - Mrs O)
I had a hard time thinking about how scripts would work when put together, and where to put them if it didn't work. Sometimes I will find out how to do it and it will seem very obvious, but other times it seems IMPOSSIBLE!
-Will The day was a little challenging but I looked at what was wrong and fixed the bugs to my own problems. I really enjoyed today's puzzles.
-Cooper Today we blogged about our potatoes. We will be planting them later today. We have learned about the life cycle of red potatoes. Did you know potatoes don't grow from seeds? The yellow powder is sulfur and helps the potatoes grow!!
The 4th grader's interactive nursery rhymes are ready! We'v had such a great time making them and an even better time sharing them with our Kindergarten partners. Find them here:

(About the Author provided by Mrs. O's 6 year-old...) Our chicks are growing! They are losing their fuzz and pin feathers and growing into the egg-laying flock that will support Lamplighter Layers next year! They might not be as cute as they once were, but they are still sweet to see.
This video is sharing how much they've grown and how they are doing with next year's 4th graders. |
